Pestana Bazaruto Lodge is situated in the largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago, approximately 800 km to the north of Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.
The island of Bazaruto is undoubtedly a beautiful and unexplored destination, characterized by its wildlife, turquoise waters and idyllic beaches. Bazaruto Island is 35 Km in length and 7 km across at the widest point, and is a little piece of paradise!
There are 40 air conditioned chalets at Bazaruto Lodge, which are all built in A-frame style with thatched roofs. These are divided into 27 'deluxe rooms', which are built right on the beach, and 13 'standard rooms', which are all set slightly further back, amongst the vegetation. Apart from their locations, all these rooms are the same.
Activities include typical beach and water sports, island hopping excursions, PADI dive centre, fishing and access to games rooms, TV rooms, library and large swimming pool.
