Duba Plains Camp is one of the most remote camps in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. Located on a tree-covered island in a 30 000-hectare concession in the north west of the Delta, Duba Plains Camp is a small, intimate camp renowned for its unrivalled access to the titanic struggle for survival between lion and buffalo.

Accommodation at Duba Plains Camp consists of six roomy tents with en-suite bathrooms, outside showers and verandas with panoramic vistas of the Okavango Delta floodplains. The thatched lounge, dining and bar areas are raised along with the pool on wooden platforms to better appreciate the breathtaking views.

A luxury African safari at Duba Plains Camp starts by tracking down one of the enormous buffalo herds to see whether the lions are on the prowl.  Duba Plains Camp offers a variety of activities including day and night game drives, often tracking the buffalo herd around the concession, and leisurely nature walks. Boat cruises are dependent on the seasonal water levels in the Duba area.

Duba Plains Camp is what we regard to be a proper safari camp, with great sightings of life and death moments on a fairly regular basis, great guiding and an unpretentious atmosphere.
